Our Governance

Regional Industry Advisory Board

The Regional Industry Advisory Board (RIAB) provides oversight, technical expertise, and guidance of NARDHC.

The RIAB consists of representatives from organisations and leaders working in the domain, including our founding partners: James Cook University (JCU), Tropical Australian Academic Health Centre (TAAHC), Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN), Optus, CSIRO and the Cooperative Research Centre for Developing Northern Australia (CRCNA).

The RIAB provide strategic oversight and guidance, identifies and nurtures existing and new partnerships, provides technical guidance for digital innovation projects, address governance and risk parameters related to the program, contributes to the NARDHC strategy, implementation plan and interoperability framework, and makes recommendations on appropriate processes and people / groups to assist in selecting sites for project pilot implementation.

Industry Roundtable

NARDHC facilitates Industry Roundtables focused on discussions about select high-level themes aligned to data-driven healthcare, overcoming the digital divide in rural, regional and remote Australia, and sustaining digital health initiatives.

Who can participate?

Anyone who shares an interest in shaping the future of digital health in Northern Australia – this includes rural and remote healthcare providers, health planners, digital technology providers, digital entreprenuers, healthcare and digital technology researchers, community leaders, rural healthcare consumers, the ICT industry and digital health solution providers.
